Beautiful home rentals in the Hollywood Hills.
We have had a tragic fire at one of our homes, 8150 Kirkwood Drive. 8152 Kirkwood has survived the fire with little damage, and is now available. Rental rates will be one week minimum, even if you would like to stay for fewer days- thank you for your understanding.
8150 is being rebuilt. Things are going along smoothly thus far...Estimated completion date: September 28, 2007. This home will have many new upgrades.
We have two beautiful homes available for rental on a short term basis (please see rate breakdowns on the home's individual page- buttons on the left) that are fully furnished with all utilites, linens and kitchen wares. High speed internet access is included as is digital cable with many available movie channels (including HBO) as well as digital music. A landline phone with answering machine is also provided for your conveneince.
It's hard to believe that you are in the perfect Los Angeles location- close to all of the studios, Malibu, the Westside and the Valley. It is just miles from either LAX or Burbank Airport and a beautiful drive along Sunset Boulevard to the beach in Mailbu.
Laurel Canyon has been the home of many celebrities over the years (yes, there is a movie) . Stay just three lights from Sunset Boulevard, but a world away. Plenty of trees and wildlife (including deer!). Although you are in the center of everything Los Angeles, you feel a world away!
In town for work? This neighborhood is used to the entertainment industry working from home so Fed Ex, DHL and UPS are more than familiar with daily deliveries. Work from the outside patio in the trees while the hummingbirds whiz by. It is a great alternative to corporate rentals such as Oakwood.
You can't get bored with Jim Morrisons house down the street and Harry Houdini's nearby. There's a fantastic vintage Canyon Country Store at the end of the street for snacks, meals (they have a deli) and groceries. If you don't feel like taking the walk, they also deliver. Housed under the Country Store is the Italian restaurant PACE. At PACE you are likely to bump into someone you have seen on the silver screen, at a concert or your television set. If you would like to enjoy this restaurant, make sure to make sure to reserve a table, especially after 6pm on most nights, as its a busy place, even without any advertising.
If you enjoy music, you can see what tickets are available at the Hollywood Bowl, the House of Blues or old Hollywood favorites like the Roxy or Whisky-a-go-go. Interested in theatre? There is always the Kodak Theatre (home of the Oscars) and the Pantages.
Shopping is easy! You can head down the road to Sunset Plaza for boutique and high end shopping, Melrose to hunt trendy finds, The Grove for shopping, dining, and movie theatre (you can buy your tickets online). Of course, there is always Rodeo Drive.
Check out available homes and their details and email if you have any questions or want to check on specific dates.
Our homes have been previously used by studios like Universal, Showtime, Lifetime and Sony to house actors for films (or for production shoots), French film production companies, photo shoots, fashion designers for fashion week, Wolfgang Puck's Food and Wine Festival organizers, film festival participants, as well as vacationers from all over the world.
Production Scouting? Film and television location shoots will be charged $1249 per day.
Travelling with a baby? We have some basic items available. However, our partner The Travelling Baby Co. Can meet all baby needs!
First time to the area? A Guide will be helpful (as would a car).
