8152 Kirkwood survived the fire with little damage, and will be up to speed at a tentative rent start date of August 12. Booking forms are now being accepted. Rental rates will be one week minimum, even if you would like to stay for fewer days (we have a bit less flexibility now without other homes).
THIS HOME IS BEING REBUILT AND HAS A TENTATIVE COMPLETION DATE OF SEPTEMBER 2007. THE INSIDE WILL BE COMPLETELY REDONE WITH ALL NEW APPLIANCES ETC. Photos will be updated upon completion.
Beautifully furnished and decorated home located in the Hollywood Hills on Kirkwood. Previously featured on the cover of HOME magazine. Funky, tri-level home with three bedrooms and two baths. Gorgeous, private, and terraced large patio, slate (upper level)/rock floors (living room), very New York gallery style. Washer and dryer. Wood-beamed ceilings in upper level bedroom. Skylight in living room, lots of windows.
French doors in bedrooms and kitchen. Balconies off of two bedrooms. KingSized Bed in one room, Queen-sized beds in other rooms plus extra sleeping mattress in closet for additional person. There is room in the living room for the extra sleeping arrangement without moving the furniture.
Tucked into the hillside, off famous Laurel Canyon, is this fanciful New York gallery style home. There is an appealing interplay of levels, textures, and decor. The kitchen and eating area take you back to the 50's with its malt shop vinyl seating and antique black stove. The living room is in shades of white, earth tones and gray. Looking up, you see painted copper motifs telling of a time when well-to-do owners had their high ceilings texturized. Gray slate covers the floors and you will find both slate and granite adding character to the bathrooms.
One of the bedrooms is in pastel colors that blend with whimsical decorations and art work. The other is a study in Scandinavian modern. Both have balconies that let you enjoy the darting of hummingbirds. Or sit in the secluded terraced garden in the midst of wild canyon setting. Come up the stairs and experience the Laurel Canyon of California Dreamin'.

The third page is for credit card payment and how you would like to pay your deposit. The form is in Word format. If you have trouble displaying the booking form, please email or call and we can either fax or email it to you in an alternative format.

Local phone service with answering machine, digital cable, and music (over 12 movie channels and dozens of commercial free music channels) and stereo system. Fully-equipped kitchen. Microwave, oven, and dishwasher. Central air and heat, Laundry room with Washer and dryer. PARKING: one car in garage and street parking. Gas barbecue. 2 plush spa style luxury robes.
From $1895 per week (US dollars) double occupancy. Lowest discounted rate is displayed below. The discount rate is with the bank transfer option instead of credit card. Can vary on weekends/holidays, please ask owner for complete rate information for the month. Fees: Cleaning fee $150 USD, regardless of length of stay. Additional maid or linen services available at an additonal charge.
Deposit: $1900 USD or with credit card authorization. This will be refunded to you within two weeks of departure, although usually it is only a couple of days. This can be done electronically or via check.
Monthly rates: $400-500 discount for monthly rate. These rates do not apply to location shoots.
Events, Film and television location shoots will be charged $1249 per day
Please note that your rates may be higher (monthly if you are staying over holiday weeks such as Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New years for the weeks the holiday lands on) as well as the Rose Bowl, Grammy's, Oscars, MTV Movie Awards (among other award show weeks).

United Kingdom Credit Card Form Credit Card Forms are available and can be faxed to the number on the booking form. Your 50% rent deposit, 100% of rent or your security deposit may be charged to a credit card, but not all (for example, if you pay for your rent with a CC, the deposit must be paid by check or bank transfer). The advertised rates are the lowest rates available, with the option of Bank transfer or personal check (if you have time to get it here, more than 30 days in advance, otherwise it will have to be done electronically). And yes the portion paid by check or bank transfer will be charged at the lower rate (about 5% difference).
